  The Pearl 30" x 16" Pipe Band Bass Drum features a 4-ply, 100% maple shell that provides a huge amount of resonance as well as mid-range warmth - a sound that is magnified by the 6-ply maple hoops and free-floating tube lugs. The hoops are protected from highly-tensioned claws with rubber lining, and throughout the drum there is no metal-on-metal contact so you don't have to worry about any buzzing or rattling. Pearl also guarantees that this bass drum will last for three years, giving you multiple worry-free marching seasons.
